The Mighty Zorvig

At the Rivers Edge

Sometimes after weeks of nonstop work, late nights, and grades that could have been much better… it can be difficult to stay positive. It’s important to take breaks when you need them. It’s important to find your peace in the chaos of everyday life. While flipping through old pictures, I found this one. I remember taking this photo and the peace I felt walking through the Botanical Gardens near campus. Everytime I see this photo, I think “let the river carry away the negative and send in the positive.” It reminds me a bit of the following quote:

“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.” ~ Willie Nelson

Remember to take care of yourself. Let in the light. You can do it.

Have a good week, my friends.

Happy Birthday, Dad.

The above is one of my favorite pictures of Dad and I. We were already buddies. He didn’t know quite yet what he was getting himself into with this little person.

That was about 20 years ago.

Thank you for all you’ve done the last 20 years. Thank you for all the support, care, and love. Thank you for always making sure I know I can count on you. Thank you for being my dad.

Happy birthday, daddy! I hope it is a great one! I love you!
